Further to a successful 2012, supplying self erecting tower cranes in the southwest, we are off to a great start to 2013, successfully installing a Mantis 35.10 on the 4th January 2013 at the Marine academy, Plymouth. The crane of which is on hire to Thames Form work for the next 12 weeks will assist in the concrete form work construction, of which contributes to a part of the Main contractors £10 million makeover.
Faster, less expensive and easier to erect and dismantle than traditional tower cranes
More cost effective than a mobile crane and operates in a more confined space
Ease of use with remote control operation of crane
Fast and accurate placement of materials – better utilization of site storage
Increased utilization of resources on site due to speed and accuracy of material delivery
Enhanced Health and Safety due to less movement of wheeled site handling equipment
Small footprint of as minimal as 1.1m X 1.1m square tower sections
Constructed on site out of small sections giving many different configuration options.
Can be either operated from a cab of which gives a improved line of sight for the operator or remotely giving the operator a hands on approach to everyday works.
